OUR STORY

The First Date...

On August 31, 2014, after a month of only texting, we met for the first time at Texas de Brazil in South Beach. Michael was so nervous he actually arrived at the restaurant an hour early!  After a very long and "meaty" dinner, we decided the night was too young to say goodbye, so we decided to take a drive up A1A. Next thing we knew, we were in Palm Beach sitting by the Ocean at 2 AM! Since that first date we have been inseparable like the sand to the beach!

THE PROPOSAL

She said yes!

After months of planning and some unforeseen circumstances, Michael woke me up on a Saturday morning (I hate Mornings!) and told me to get dressed. While the weather was a bit wet, he took me to the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on Biscayne Bay.

After enjoying the exhibits on the first floor, we headed upstairs. Making our way to the back of the museum overlooking downtown, he sat me down got on his knee and asked me to marry him. While neither of us remembers how the ring got on my finger, we do know that I said “yes!”

We never finished walking around the museum because we were too excited!
